So all my submissions lately have had THE MOST BORING COMPOSITIONS EVER. UGH. IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS. and so with this one, i was like, 'motion! blood! 8D that's interesting!' FDLSJDFK i'll make an interesting composition soon, i promise D:
i like how the colouring turned out, i tried to colour it less smoothly than normal, gah it was so hard
i kept wanting to blend things and my hand was like, 'wheeeeeee blendie~!' and i was like 'OMFG NO. -smack-'

The blood gives this the perfect touch. But (in my opinion) a few blood spots in the bottom left hand corner would of really wrapped it all together! If you want to try to make blood spots without photoshop, try using some colored Indian Ink. Magenta + Red + a small (like, really, REALLY small) amount of black, and you have a nice realistic blood color!
Your work with Prismacolor markers, is (as always) is very impresive!
What I really like about the piece is the combination of anime and realistic qualities. I mean the teeth are amazing!! You made them look real without screwing up the piece which I've scene a lot when people try to do realistic teeth. The shading and lighting of his skin is beautifully done and his eyes are gorgeous!! The blood spatter is a great effect and it works with the hair. The hair is great by the way. Axel's hair is hard.
I think the only thing that needs work on is his dog tag. The number could have been more neatly done. Other wise this piece is gorgeous and needs no other improvement. Great job!
