OH MY GOD, I HAD SUCH AN AMAZING WEEKEND, BAAAAHG!! IDK WHERE TO START!! _{okay, howabout the beginning? ya.}
So my sister

and a couple of her friends and i all drove up to Stephens Point on friday to go to DAISHOCON! a darling little 2 year-old con that has been very successful, is very well run, and super fun. The only other con experience i've had was spending 4 hours completely overhwelmed and lost at Anime Central last year, so this was more or less my first REAL con experience
AND THUS, MY CON-VIRGINITY IS TAKEN! D8
and it was freaking AWESOME.
I sat in on a couple panels of Travis Willingham's cuz he was the guest of honor (NO idea how anyone got Travis to go to wisconsin, BUT HE WAS THERE. i know, im still shocked too) and that guy is absolutely hilarious (and really freaking hot too) his 18+ only panel was my favourite panel at the con, i could not stop laughing; all the questions were so ridiculous and had to have a swear in them, so people would make up the most ridiculous string of swears and throw them into the questions and then the question itself would turn out hilarious, and Travis would then respond and answer in an equally hilarious manner, baaaaahahaha i couldnt stop laughing xD
and if u failed to put a swear in ur question, Travis would make u come up onto stage next to him and repeat after him, and make you say silly sentences. with lots of swears. of course.
i wanted to talk to him afterwards and have him, like, sign my face or something, but his hotness intimidated me and i didnt.

I also had an artist table at the con, FIRST TIME SELLING, EVER, OMFG I WAS SO DISORGANIZED, LMFAO.

omfg but it was so. freaking. fun. People are so friendly at conventions! people would just come by and say hi, and talk and i had so many fun and random conversations, AAAAAAAAAAHG IT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME. I also met a couple of my dA watchers, (i didnt think i had more than like, 2 from the midwest, LOL) and that was super cool, i especially had a good time talking to the cute

FOUND ME AND ADOPTED ME INTO HER FAMILY OF EQUALLY AWESOME AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!

I was a con orphan cuz none of my 2 irl anime-loving friends had been able to go, so i was no-friends-kiki for a while, but then Tera came by my table, and we talked for a while, and she is so fucking amazing, and so sweet, and lovely

not to mention a ridiculously talented seamstress and cosplayer, (HER COSTUMES WERE SO GOOD) and yeah, ahg!! yay for new friends! 8,D

Saturday night was the big dance/rave thing, and that was so much fun x3 the dj was super good and played really good music,

There was also STRUGGLE MATCHES! like, KH struggle! i got so excited!! xD i ttly fought my sister (and won, btw) but i felt like the douchey seifer and she the roxas cuz im like, super tall and she's... not. _{all the pictures that i have of our fight didnt turn out, SO HERE'S ONE OF MY SISTER AND HER BF, LOL}

there was a tournament on saturday, but i missed it cuz i was in the AA, but that's okay. i got to struggle with a legit struggle bat. i now feel a little more officially awesome.

Sunday was the last day, and a bunch of the artists in the AA had left already, and i got lonely at my table. so the freaking adorable

brought her stuff over and we joined table forces. SHE'S SO CUTE. she's so good at drawing chibis (a skill i will never posess) and so we shared a table! and it was so fun, we did a sketch trade together, i drew her [link] and she drew me the most cutest akuroku chibis ever x3 <333!

some other things that happened that are possibly worthy of note:
- A dude dressed up as Frankenfurter and wore complete skimpy, see-through french-maid lingerie-dress thing, (he even had little lacy PANTIES ON, oh god it was hilarious and awesome. ...i only know this cuz his outfit was see through. i swear)
- TWO COSPLAYERS DRESSED UP AS CHU AND JURI FROM YU YU HAKUSHO WON THE BEST COSPLAY AWARD!! [link] omg i was so happy, i wanted them to win so bad, they looked so good. finally YYH gets some of the cred it deserves, its such an awesome show, _{*COUGH*and so much better than the total YYH rip-off show that is called Bleach*COUGH*} ...what?

- The full version of the gay snooker-table-50K print [link] was the biggest selling print, it sold out FAST.
the ppl at daisho have good taste

- I am now on a con high, and super pumped for all the other cons I'm going to! x3

on a completely different note, the bad news is that i'm not so sure that i'll be able to finish the akuroku doujinshi by May in time for Anime Central like was planned ;A; the GOOD news however is that, it's because the doujinshi is turning out longer than i anticipated--thats why its gonna me longer to finish. instead of my estimate of 25 pages, IT IS NOW GOING ON 45 PAGES. HOLY SHIT. so that's 20 more yummy pages of hot axel and roxas canoodling and snogging and touching action than was initially planned.
