Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

WHUT?! I DONT JUST DRAW PICTURES!?
I've been really into relearning the piano lately, i havn't taken any lessons for about four years, but my fingers still remember how to play a few songs, like To Zanarkand (FFX), Kuja's Theme (FFIX)_{amazing song, omg} but my favourite song to play right now is Terra Reborn</acronym> from FFIX (my favourite FF game xD ) it's crazy, i can only play it really fast 'cause my brain doesn't know which keys to press, it's all muscle memory, so I can't start midway through the chorus or anything, cause my hands dont know where to go unless they're already going... hurr

does anyone else know what im talking about? lolol im not crazy, i promise.
my goal this summer is to learn and play by memory Yoko Kanno's Piano Solo [link] ahg it's so hard, i only have the 'Elm', 'Green Bird' parts and First two pages done, boo. but i love all the little key changes, its so fun, and how the song changes so much, from like, jazz, to blues to contemporary, but each part is just as amazing as the last, UGH yoko kanno is a God T_T
I'm also learning to play River Flows in You by Yiruma (edward cullen -SNORT-) and some songs from FFX-2... im a big Nobuo Uematsu fan, i wish he had done the music for KH instead of Yoko Shimomura, her stuff is just not as awesome or as profound to me as Nobuo's stuff :c

I've also been cooking a lot lately (ZOMG I LOVE COOKING) since both my parents work and i am uselessly unemployed, ive been helping my rents out by saving money and making homemade meals every day, it's so much fun, i love playing with different spices and junk

i made yorkshire puddings last week! i was so proud.
i also like reading, but dont have much time for that as of late, with commissions and piano and cooking, jahwool my day is pleasantly full ^^

shit!!! i fail doing my exam yesterday, i so nervous that my hand were cold and trembling..... n i couldn't do exam right....
