Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I saw Dark Night again last night, Batman has
been my favourite superhero since as long as i can remember, and omg the new movie was better than my super lame brain could have even hoped. GAH. I wanna watch it again. it was so good, like, ugh. i can't put it into words >.<
i've never been more sad that Ledger is dead then after watching the movie. i laughed, i cried, metaphorically peed my pants, it was beautiful.

did you know the Joker kills Robin? that's so sad ;_; i read somewhere that Batman never really gets over the moment he found Jason's (Robin) exploded body all over the ground. GAH he had adopted Jason and everything cause he was an orphan just like Bruce, and and and. . . the Batman story is so good. not little-kid rated at all, oh my gosh o_o in one part, the Joker tries to get commissioner Gordon to go insane by showing him pictures of his daughter naked and bloodied after the joker had kidnapped and paralyzed her.

i can see why playing the role of the Joker could drive an actor insane.

then i found this picture, after Jason's death, Batman trains another boy named Tim to be the new Robin, and i had always imagined Batman as kinda cold, and aloof and not huggy-friendly, but then i saw this, it takes place right after Tim's parents are murdered by some supervillian:

Despite his awful reputation, Lucifer has an amazing cult following. What's interesting, I think, about it is that you have an Angel, the symbol of purity, and not only that but the greatest of Angels as even God claimed, to fall and become the greatest symbol of impurity; sin. When people think demons they get an image of a beast and forget that they were once Angels. I can imagine that there are some very beautiful demons.

On another note: AMEN TO BATMAN! I can't believe he came in second in The 100 Best Superheroes of All Time. UP YOURS, SUPERMAN, YOU GET BEATEN BY A ROCK!
