EW FUCK textbooks DX mine shipped in a few days ago...they're still sitting in the box, waiting to be opened and show off the receipt off to the world. AM NOT READY TO OPEN MY FREAKIN' BOX OF BOOKS TO REMIND ME THAT SCHOOL. IS. TOMORROW. *SEPPUKKU*

i'm assuming that all my english books are cheaper than freakin textbooks T_T;; SHAKESPEARE, HATH THOU EMPTIED MINE WALLET?!

fuck, i hate the return value of the damn books though, ESPECIALLY THE SCIENCE ONES. i paid a good 150-200 bucks for stupid science textbooks back in year 1 and 2 that were heavy as all hell, lug it back to campus and get 50 for it. WTF. OTL it's even worse when the campus has OVER THE COURSE OF A *TERM* DECIDED THAT ALL THE SCIENCE TEXTBOOKS NEED TO BE UPDATED so then i can't resell them CAUSE THE BOOKSTSORE WON'T. WANT. THEM. FUCKITALL.

i have several old biology textbooks, half of which i didn't even find useful, a CUSTOM calculus textbook (wtf really, professor?) that they won't take back because it's a CUSTOM edition, and an atmospheric textbook that the campus won't take back 'cause the professor, who wrote the textbook, had revisioned it so much so it was like, not even the same book anymore. I HATE FUCKING MONEY GRABS. I HAAAAAAAATE MONEY GRAAAAAAABS.

DON'T SELL YOUR BOOKS BACK TO THE BOOKSTORE. D8! List them on half.com. It's free to list. ^_^ Hell, BUY them on half.com. BOOKSTORES ARE RIP OFFS. I never used them. Not for buying anyway. I'd go and use the bookstore's lists to find out what books I needed (if the prof hadn't already informed us) and then make a note of prices, just in case I couldn't find one or two cheaper online. www.bigwords.com compares ALL selling sites on the internet for the cheapest listing. (Tho it's usually half.com anyway. :XD: )

Nothing helps much when the school gets super stupid about new editions, but online buying helps a lot the rest of the time. :hug:

OMG if only i knew about this about three years earlier LOLOLOLOLOL orz;;;; but will ttly use that to sell my shit and see if i can actually make something of them :S i don't even want to THINK about how much money i've wasted already lmfao T____T;;; the only books that are actually worth keeping to me, are my psychology textbooks. beautiful, informative, and was used FREQUENTLY. UUUUUUUGH stupid science books of all hell orz;;;

Oh I know, I had some books I kept too. ^_^ But yeah, best thing to do? List your books online as SOON as you're done with them. The longer you wait to sell them, the lower the value. (And no harm in CHECKING with the bookstore to see what they're offering. You might get more, once in a while. I just never bothered because the buy-back people were inconvenient for me.)

GOOD LUCK! :hug:
